My Take: I think that chat roulette has the potential to become a great way for people to connect with people anywhere in the world instantaneously. However, I feel that it must evolve from this current period of groups of perverts and guys only willing to give girls a second look and “nexting” everyone else. I believe that once it truly slips into the mainstream (which it has slowly begun to do with its recent media attention in various newspapers) people will begin to slow down their current pace of “nexting” and actually attempt to connect with the people they are suddenly faced by once that button is pressed.

I found this film very interesting, It really helped to put into perspective just what sort of scale youtube really has grown to since its conception. It’s a phenomina which I believe will most edfinately continue to be studied if for no other reason than to observe the vast amount of varied videos being posted every second even. I can atest to this and I’m sure others can as well, that I’ve found myself facinated with watching the video counter on youtube’s home page as it continues to climb. Youtube, I believe, has become an integral part to many peoples lives and occupies the same thought pattern as checking one’s email, or face book. It’s almost compulsory, to the point that I’m almost certain that it will never be a thing of the past, simply of the present.
